Chinese Native Medicine

I caught a serious cool When I arrived Calgary. It lasted more than 20 days. Calary is colder than China at that time, and I didn' t wear warm clothes. It was a hard time for me. I was coughing 、headache、weak and thratache. Fortunately, I took some painkillers 、cough medicines and cold tablets. I drank ginger soup everyday. In China some people eat western medicine because it can make you feel better soon, and some peolpe prefer Chinese native medicine. In china believe that wastern medicine have side effects , Chinese native medicine doesn't. Chinese native medicine had over five thousands years age in China. People used plants、flowers、mineral and everything in nature. Althoug people don't ill they also take some Chinese native medicine to keep them strong and comfortable. Usually people would like use Chinese native medicine to cook and drink.

My life in Calgary

I have been in Calgary 2 months. I will leave here in the end of this month. I love this city, love my new friends and teachers. Calgary is a very clean, beautiful, polite city. The weather here is a litter terrible. I lived in downtown where there are lots of beautiful building ,nice park and kind warm firendly people. When I finished my diner, I liked to walk along the stree and have a short rest in the park near my apartment. I went to U OF C from Monday to Friday. It's very convenient. I just needs walk 15 minutes and 20 minutes takes subway. I love peaceful, clean U of C, especially for my kind helpful teachers and lovely nice classmates. Some of them beacame my best and close friends. I have a good time in U of C everyday. In every weekend, I need to go to T&T buy some food for the next week. There are lots of nice China goods and Asia goods, they're more expensive than goods in China. When I finished my homework and housework. My friends and I would go to some clubs for relax and fun in the evening. There is a large different between my job life and Calgary life, it's very busy and pressure in my job life, and the Calgary life is comfortable and joyful. Althoug the Calgary life is very nice, I miss my family very much. I don't want to leave Caglary and my best friends, and also I want to meet my family soon. It's very hard for me. when I left Calgary I would give my best wishes to Calary, U of C, my dear teacher and friends forever!
